📋 How to Measure Your Ring Size
- Method 1 - Use an Existing Ring: Measure the inside diameter of a ring that fits well. Use a ruler with millimeter markings for best accuracy.
- Method 2 - String Method: Wrap a string or thin strip of paper around your finger. Mark where it overlaps, then measure the length. This is your circumference.
- Method 3 - Printable Sizer: Use our ring sizer tool above. Print it at 100% scale (no scaling) and follow the instructions.
💡 Important Tips
- Time of Day: Measure at the end of the day when your fingers are warmest and slightly larger.
- Temperature: Cold fingers are smaller. Ensure your hands are at a comfortable temperature.
- Between Sizes: If you're between sizes, choose the larger size for comfort, especially for rings that go over large knuckles.
- Wide Bands: Wide rings (6mm+) fit more snugly. Consider going up half a size for wide bands.
- Finger Variation: Your dominant hand's fingers are usually slightly larger. Each finger has a different size!
- Knuckle Check: The ring should slide over your knuckle with slight resistance but fit comfortably at the base.
🌍 Regional Differences
- US/Canada: Numerical system starting from 3 (half sizes available)
- UK/Australia/Ireland: Alphabetical system (A-Z, half sizes as A½, B½, etc.)
- Europe: Based on inner circumference in millimeters
- Japan: Numbers 1-30, based on circumference
- China: Numbers 1-27, based on diameter
- Switzerland: Similar to China but slightly different scaling
