How to Measure Your Feet

Foot length is the most reliable way to find your size in any system. Measure late in the day when feet are largest.

1

Trace your foot

Place a sheet of paper against a wall and stand on it with your heel touching the wall. Trace around your foot or mark the tip of your longest toe.

2

Measure the length

Measure from the wall (heel) to the longest toe in centimetres or inches. This is your foot length.

3

Use the larger foot

Measure both feet. They are rarely identical, so use the larger measurement to choose your size.

4

Enter it above

Type your foot length into the "Or Foot Length" box to get your size in every region instantly.

Note: Shoe sizing is not perfectly standardised — the same labelled size can fit differently between brands, styles and materials. Use these conversions as a starting point and check a specific brand's size guide when available.

💡 Shoe Sizing Tips

  • Measure Your Feet: Always measure both feet in the evening when they're slightly larger. Use the larger measurement.
  • Brand Variations: Sizing can vary between brands. When possible, check brand-specific size guides.
  • Width Matters: This converter focuses on length. If you have wide or narrow feet, consider width fittings (D, E, EE, etc.).
  • Sock Thickness: Consider the type of socks you'll wear with the shoes when selecting your size.
  • Try Before Buying: If ordering online internationally, check the return policy in case the fit isn't perfect.
  • Children's Shoes: Leave about 1cm (0.4 inch) growing room for children's shoes, but not more to ensure proper support.
